Change at the helm of Nordzucker AG

With effect of 28 February 2018 CEO Hartwig Fuchs, being in that position since February 2010, will resign from his position.

"Mr. Fuchs has informed me very early about his wish of leaving the company for personal reasons out of his contract that originally runs until February 2019", explains Hans-Christian Koehler, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nordzucker AG and adds: "Naturally, we regret the decision of our long serving CEO, as we have experienced many successful years and decided upon important steps always in a very close cooperation. To promote increasingly our own talents within the company was just one of these long term decisions - and one that the Supervisory Board was always putting a lot of value on."
Hartwig Fuchs points out that his withdrawal results solely from reasons within his personal life and wishes the company all the best for the coming years.  "It was a joy and a privilege to work for this company within a strong team. And I want to thank the chairman of our Supervisory Board, Mr. Hans-Christian Koehler, for the excellent cooperation of the past years and his understanding for my decision. I also want to thank my colleagues of the Management Board for the success we've had together and I will support them as best as possible in the coming months. Nordzucker AG is a fantastic company with excellent employees and will stay like that also in the future."
Hans-Christian Koehler points out that the Supervisory Board has evaluated all options in regards to the composition of the Management Board and is going to implement them in the upcoming weeks.
