Nordic Sugar primarily operates in the Northern European sugar market as a supplier to a range of industries, and offering a broad selection of standard and speciality sugar products to approx. 30 million consumers.

 

Sugar consumption in the EU is currently estimated at approx. 16 million tonnes. Nordic Sugar markets approx. 1 million tonnes of sugar annually. The EU sugar market is regulated by the EU sugar regime.

 

Nordic Sugar boasts market leadership in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

 

More than 80% of Nordic Sugar’s sugar output is sold to the food industry, and the rest is sold to the retail market under our Dansukker brand name.

 

Our sugar products are used mainly within the following industry segments:

 

• Bakeries
• Confectionery
• Beverages
• Jam and marmalade
• Dairy and
• Non-food applications

 

In addition, we deliver a range of feed products and sugar beet seeds.
