Nordic Sugar purchases goods and services in the amount of DKK 2 billion a year. To us, these purchases are much more than mere costs. We want to establish sustainable relations with our suppliers and cooperate with suppliers who can help us develop our business and maintain a high level of quality which contributes to low costs in our production.

 

Nordic Sugar Procurement is an integrated part of the Corporate Procurement organisation in the Nordzucker Group. We prefer suppliers who can deliver goods and services to us across national borders. We strive to work according to the most updated Category Management principles for suppliers at Group level as well as local level.

Interested in becoming a Preferred Supplier?

Our aim is to reduce the total number of suppliers by selecting a limited number of Preferred Suppliers. Nordic Sugar evaluates its preferred suppliers on the basis of an internal rating system.

 

When Nordic Sugar is about to enter into an agreement with a Preferred Supplier, we focus not only on the product, but also on the cooperation. This means that besides evaluating the quality of the product, we check whether the potential Preferred Supplier in question works according to principles that are in harmony with our position on values and sustainability.
