Nordic Sugar Holding A/S is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nordzucker Group, Nordzucker AG, which is a cooperative.
Nordic Sugar Holding A/S comprises the companies Nordic Sugar A/S in Denmark (including the Maribo Seed Group), Nordic Sugar AB in Sweden, an 80% share in Sucros OY in Finland and a 71% share in AB Nordic Sugar Kedainiai in Lithuania. We operate sales companies in Latvia, Iceland and Norway and a sales office in Estonia.
Until the financial year end as at 28 February 2009, Nordic Sugar – formerly Danisco Sugar – was part of the Danisco Group’s financial reporting. As a member of the Nordzucker Group, Nordic Sugar is now an integral part of the consolidated accounts of Nordzucker. Nordzucker’s accounting year runs from 1 March to 28 February.
